{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-48-2e-911","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 48-2e-911","heading":"Withdrawal of registration of registered foreign limited partnership.","body":"(1) A registered foreign limited partnership may withdraw its registration by delivering a statement of withdrawal to the division for filing. The statement of withdrawal must state:\n(a) the name of the foreign limited partnership and its jurisdiction of formation;\n(b) that the foreign limited partnership is not doing business in this state and that it withdraws its registration to do business in this state;\n(c) that the foreign limited partnership revokes the authority of its registered agent to accept service on its behalf in this state; and\n(d) an address to which service of process may be made under Subsection (2).\n(2) After the withdrawal of the registration of a partnership, service of process in any action or proceeding based on a cause of action arising during the time the foreign limited partnership was registered to do business in this state may be made pursuant to Subsection 16-17-301(2).","path":["Title 48 Unincorporated Business Entity Act","Chapter 48-2e Utah Uniform Limited Partnership Act","Part 48-2e-9 Foreign Limited Partnerships"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title48/Chapter2e/48-2e-S911.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"c183cad25208ddea2387b57ff89b77f79f110204c95c413dbe07d1aa138330c8","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-48-2e-910","next":"us-ut/utah-code-48-2e-912"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
