{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-48-5-108","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 48-5-108","heading":"Certificates issued by the division.","body":"(1) Any person may apply to the division for:\n(a) a certificate of existence for a decentralized autonomous organization; or\n(b) a certificate that sets forth any facts of record in the division.\n(2) A certificate of existence or certificate of authorization sets forth:\n(a) the decentralized autonomous organization's name;\n(b) that the decentralized autonomous organization is recognized under the law of this state;\n(c) the date of the decentralized autonomous organization's formation;\n(d) that articles of dissolution have not been filed by the division; and\n(e) other facts of record in the division that may be requested by the applicant.\n(3) Subject to any qualification stated in the certificate, a certificate issued by the division may be relied upon as conclusive evidence of the facts set forth in the certificate.","path":["Title 48 Unincorporated Business Entity Act","Chapter 48-5 Decentralized Autonomous Organization Act","Part 48-5-1 General Provisions"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title48/Chapter5/48-5-S108.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"6e4fc01d84e0ac944b1c9999b6aeee56546bbb234e01780068a414392f7317a9","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-48-5-107","next":"us-ut/utah-code-48-5-109"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
