{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-49-20-416","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 49-20-416","heading":"Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment program reimbursement.","body":"(1) As used in this section:\n(a) \"Controlled substance prescriber\" means a controlled substance prescriber, as that term is defined in Section 58-37-303, who:\n(i) has a record of having completed SBIRT training, in accordance with Subsection 58-37-303(2), before providing the SBIRT services; and\n(ii) is a program enrolled controlled substance prescriber.\n(b) \"SBIRT\" means the same as that term is defined in Section 58-37-303.\n(2) The health program offered to the state employee risk pool under Section 49-20-202 shall reimburse a controlled substance prescriber who provides SBIRT services to a covered individual who is 13 years old or older for the SBIRT services.","path":["Title 49 Utah State Retirement and Insurance Benefit Act","Chapter 49-20 Public Employees' Benefit and Insurance Program Act","Part 49-20-4 Insurance Program"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title49/Chapter20/49-20-S416.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"9a7fb4d4db264bb89830ebcdfc5b66796147ed7874215c6eab096b51c7899b2a","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-49-20-414","next":"us-ut/utah-code-49-20-417"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
