{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-49-20-502","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 49-20-502","heading":"Definitions.","body":"As used in this part:\n(1) \"Health benefit plan\" means:\n(a) a health benefit plan as defined in Section 31A-1-301; or\n(b) a health, dental, medical, Medicare supplement, or conversion program offered under Title 49, Chapter 20, Public Employees' Benefit and Insurance Program Act.\n(2) \"Pharmacist\" is as defined in Section 58-17b-102.\n(3) \"Pharmacy\" is as defined in Section 58-17b-102.\n(4) \"Pharmacy benefits management service\" means the same as that term is defined in Section 31A-46-102.\n(5) \"Pharmacy benefits manager\" means a person that provides a pharmacy benefits management service to the program.\n(6) \"Pharmacy service\" means a product, good, or service provided by a pharmacy or pharmacist to an individual.","path":["Title 49 Utah State Retirement and Insurance Benefit Act","Chapter 49-20 Public Employees' Benefit and Insurance Program Act","Part 49-20-5 Pharmacy Benefits Manager Act"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title49/Chapter20/49-20-S502.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"52a393a6c11dd1ba255d7e7e67c66da46abcbd96f959801a68608d7ba2774a94","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-49-20-501","next":"us-ut/utah-code-49-20-503"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
