{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-52-1-2","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 52-1-2","heading":"Crime insurance in favor of state -- Approval and recording -- Filing of oaths.","body":"(1) Unless otherwise provided in statute, if a state officer or an official of a state institution is required to obtain crime insurance in favor of the state, the state officer or executive director of the state institution shall:\n(a) ensure that the crime insurance policy is obtained as required by statute; and\n(b) keep proof of insurance on file at the administrative office of the:\n(i) state officer or the state institution; or\n(ii) Division of Risk Management.\n(2) A state official shall file the state official's oath of office with the Division of Archives and Records Service created under Section 63A-12-101.","path":["Title 52 Public Officers","Chapter 52-1 Official Oaths and Bonds"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title52/Chapter1/52-1-S2.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"0fdc2ec682b0d5e427cbd6ce9ebf81bb5243220117799a5f93375692d5c4ab05","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-52-1-1","next":"us-ut/utah-code-52-1-3"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
