{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-53-25-103","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 53-25-103","heading":"Airport dangerous weapon possession reporting requirements.","body":"(1) As used in this section, \"department\" means the Department of Criminal Justice created in Section 75E-2-102.\n(2) Beginning on January 1, 2026, a law enforcement agency having law enforcement jurisdiction over an airport shall annually, on or before April 30, submit a report to the department detailing:\n(a) for an offense described in Subsection 76-11-218(2)(a):\n(i) the number of issued written warnings;\n(ii) the number of issued citations;\n(iii) the number of referrals to a detective; and\n(iv) the number of referrals to a prosecutor; and\n(b) for an offense described in Subsection 76-11-218(2)(b):\n(i) the number of issued written warnings; and\n(ii) if applicable, the number of issued citations, including the number of individuals who have received more than one citation for the offense.\n(3) The department shall:\n(a) develop a standardized format for reporting the data described in Subsection (2);\n(b) compile the data submitted under Subsection (2); and\n(c) annually on or before August 1, publish a report of the data described in Subsection (2) on the department's website.","path":["Title 53 Public Safety Code","Chapter 53-25 Law Enforcement Requirements","Part 53-25-1 Disclosure and General Reporting Requirements"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title53/Chapter25/53-25-S103.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"16c69ac9b2e5c82a3bc5c36eb14c150cfd1f5beadeae04cc4cd623d11ea6682a","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-53-25-102","next":"us-ut/utah-code-53-25-104"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
