{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-53-3-1004","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 53-3-1004","heading":"Ignition interlock system provider license -- Contents of rules.","body":"In accordance with Title 63G, Chapter 3, Utah Administrative Rulemaking Act, the commissioner shall make rules regarding the requirements for:\n(1) an ignition interlock system provider license, including requirements concerning:\n(a) locations;\n(b) equipment;\n(c) installers;\n(d) previous records of the provider and installers;\n(e) financial statements;\n(f) schedule of fees and charges;\n(g) character and reputation of the providers and installers;\n(h) insurance as the commissioner determines necessary to protect the interests of the public; and\n(i) other provisions the commissioner may prescribe for the protection of the public;\n(2) an installer's license, including requirements concerning:\n(a) moral character;\n(b) knowledge of the procedures for installation of an ignition interlock system; and\n(c) other provisions the commissioner may prescribe for the protection of the public; and\n(3) applications for licenses.","path":["Title 53 Public Safety Code","Chapter 53-3 Uniform Driver License Act","Part 53-3-10 Ignition Interlock System Program Act"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title53/Chapter3/53-3-S1004.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"ef607f6e3f5b10a2d53b01dee5764287237f51a4fb003fef55a72f0f0072be7d","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-53-3-1003","next":"us-ut/utah-code-53-3-1005"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
