{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-53-3-214.7","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 53-3-214.7","heading":"License or identification card checkoff for promoting and supporting organ donation.","body":"(1) A person who applies for a license or identification card or a renewal of a license or identification card may designate a voluntary contribution of $2 for the purpose of promoting and supporting organ donation.\n(2) This contribution shall be:\n(a) collected by the division;\n(b) treated as a voluntary contribution to the Allyson Gamble Organ Donation Contribution Fund created in Section 26B-1-312 and not as a license fee; and\n(c) transferred to the Allyson Gamble Organ Donation Contribution Fund created in Section 26B-1-312 at least monthly, less actual administrative costs associated with collecting and transferring the contributions.","path":["Title 53 Public Safety Code","Chapter 53-3 Uniform Driver License Act","Part 53-3-2 Driver Licensing Act"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title53/Chapter3/53-3-S214.7.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"7e0b2590c10ba629cb06f824dc74b2d0d409a7a6dd47202683751036e5e46366","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-53-3-214.5","next":"us-ut/utah-code-53-3-214.8"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
