{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-53-3-215","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 53-3-215","heading":"Duplicate license certificate -- Fee.","body":"(1)\n(a) If a license certificate issued under this chapter is lost, stolen, or destroyed, the person to whom the license certificate was issued may obtain a duplicate upon furnishing proof satisfactory to the division that the license certificate has been lost, stolen, or destroyed and upon payment of a duplicate fee under Section 53-3-105.\n(b) A person may not be issued a duplicate license certificate under this section unless the person complies with Subsection 53-3-204(2)(f).\n(2) When the division is advised that a license certificate has been lost, stolen, or destroyed, the license certificate is then void.","path":["Title 53 Public Safety Code","Chapter 53-3 Uniform Driver License Act","Part 53-3-2 Driver Licensing Act"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title53/Chapter3/53-3-S215.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"2a544c41fe8f976469a30350843052a55da0a7db15fffa971995970eead13d45","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-53-3-214.8","next":"us-ut/utah-code-53-3-216"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
