{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-53e-1-205","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 53E-1-205","heading":"Reporting impact analysis.","body":"(1) As used in this section, \"proposed report\" means a report that:\n(a) an LEA is required to prepare or submit to the state board;\n(b) a rule proposed by the state board requires; and\n(c) is not required by federal law, Utah Code, or another state entity.\n(2) The state board shall establish a policy or procedures to evaluate the impact a proposed report may have on reporting requirements for an LEA.\n(3) The impact described in Subsection (2) may include:\n(a) the estimated cost to an LEA associated with the proposed report;\n(b) the estimated time an LEA administrator will spend preparing the proposed report; and\n(c) any disproportionate impact the proposed report may have on an LEA because of the LEA's size, location, or other factors.","path":["Title 53E Public Education System -- State Administration","Chapter 53E-1 Title Provisions","Part 53E-1-2 Reports"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title53E/Chapter1/53E-1-S205.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"35757c704b9c4ade9559b84ed33318902855d4540c7cf952d9b9a352fde7c01b","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-53e-1-203","next":"us-ut/utah-code-53e-1-206"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
