{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-53f-10-101","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 53F-10-101","heading":"Definitions.","body":"As used in this section:\n(1) \"Capital development project\" means the same as that term is defined in Section 63A-5b-401, including new construction, capital expansion, and renovation.\n(2) \"Capital local levy\" means the levy that a local school board imposes under Section 53F-8-303.\n(3) \"Capital Projects Evaluation Panel\" or \"panel\" means the panel established in Section 53F-10-201.\n(4) \"Capital projects funding\" means funds distributed from the Small School District Capital Projects Fund.\n(5) \"Division\" means the Division of Facilities Construction and Management.\n(6) \"Eligible school district\" means a school district:\n(a) in a county of the fourth, fifth, or sixth class; and\n(b)\n(i) that qualifies for state guarantee funding related to local levies under Section 53F-2-601; or\n(ii)\n(A) that has a project that the panel has approved; and\n(B) that the state board approves, upon the state superintendent's recommendation.\n(7) \"Small School District Capital Projects Fund\" or \"fund\" means the capital projects fund created in Section 53F-9-601.","path":["Title 53F Public Education System -- Funding","Chapter 53F-10 State Funding -- Capital Projects","Part 53F-10-1 General Provisions"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title53F/Chapter10/53F-10-S101.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"286a7518391cc979368444af13c498023dceab93c5956031d5b962366e410aca","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-53f-9-601","next":"us-ut/utah-code-53f-10-102"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
