{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-53f-4-306","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 53F-4-306","heading":"Enforcement and penalties.","body":"(1)\n(a) The state board shall require a private school to submit a signed affidavit assuring the private school will comply with the requirements of this part.\n(b) If a school fails to submit a signed affidavit within 30 days of receiving notification that the school is an approved private school to receive the Carson Smith Scholarship, the state board may:\n(i) deny the private school permission to enroll scholarship students; and\n(ii) interrupt disbursement of or withhold scholarship payments.\n(2) The state board may investigate complaints and convene administrative hearings for an alleged violation of this part.\n(3) Upon a finding that this part was violated, the state board may:\n(a) deny a private school permission to enroll scholarship students;\n(b) interrupt disbursement of or withhold scholarship payments; or\n(c) issue an order for repayment of scholarship payments fraudulently obtained.","path":["Title 53F Public Education System -- Funding","Chapter 53F-4 State Funding -- Contracted Initiatives","Part 53F-4-3 Carson Smith Scholarship Program"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title53F/Chapter4/53F-4-S306.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"7e1a76717af91d6dfa47f47d2f267037983b6d4321e0a67b3e722c6d031abc73","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-53f-4-305","next":"us-ut/utah-code-53f-4-307"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
