{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-53g-11-304","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 53G-11-304","heading":"Educator exit survey -- Rulemaking -- Local education agencies to create and administer exit surveys -- Reporting.","body":"(1) In accordance with Title 63G, Chapter 3, Utah Administrative Rulemaking Act, the state board shall make rules that establish:\n(a) minimum standards for an exit survey described in Subsection (2), including a model exit survey; and\n(b) LEA exit survey reporting requirements.\n(2) An LEA shall, in accordance with the rules described in Subsection (1):\n(a) for an educator who is leaving employment at the LEA:\n(i) create an exit survey; and\n(ii) make the LEA's best effort to administer the exit survey to the educator before the educator leaves employment at the LEA; and\n(b) report the results of an administered exit survey to the state board.\n(3) The state board shall:\n(a) before taking final action on the rules described in Subsection (1), report the proposed rules to the Education Interim Committee and consider recommendations from the committee regarding the proposed rules; and\n(b) on or before November 30, 2020, and as requested by the Education Interim Committee, report to the committee on the results described in Subsection (2)(b).","path":["Title 53G Public Education System -- Local Administration","Chapter 53G-11 Employees","Part 53G-11-3 Licensed Employee Requirements"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title53G/Chapter11/53G-11-S304.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"0eb184b346c8e15ff5db9f3842163f700d7e58e3c66a84f9b05c8e7c027c263d","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-53g-11-303","next":"us-ut/utah-code-53g-11-305"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
