{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-53g-11-510","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 53G-11-510","heading":"State board to describe a framework for the evaluation of educators.","body":"(1) In accordance with Title 63G, Chapter 3, Utah Administrative Rulemaking Act, the state board shall make rules:\n(a) describing a framework for the evaluation of educators that is consistent with the requirements of Part 3, Licensed Employee Requirements, and Sections 53G-11-506, 53G-11-507, 53G-11-508, 53G-11-509, 53G-11-510, and 53G-11-511; and\n(b) requiring an educator's summative evaluation to be based on:\n(i) educator professional standards established by the state board; and\n(ii) the requirements described in Subsection 53G-11-507(1).\n(2) The rules described in Subsection (1) shall prohibit the use of end-of-level assessment scores in educator evaluation.","path":["Title 53G Public Education System -- Local Administration","Chapter 53G-11 Employees","Part 53G-11-5 School District and Utah Schools for the Deaf and the Blind Employee Requirements"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title53G/Chapter11/53G-11-S510.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"523165f5e138dba936fdbf3316584ed984422bef0a053341829ff3a51b0d59f7","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-53g-11-509","next":"us-ut/utah-code-53g-11-511"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
