{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-53g-5-204","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 53G-5-204","heading":"Charter school innovative practices -- Report to State Charter School Board.","body":"(1) On or before July 31 of each year, a charter school may identify and report to the State Charter School Board the charter school's innovative practices which fulfill the purposes of charter schools as described in Section 53G-5-104, including:\n(a) unique learning opportunities providing increased choice in education;\n(b) new public school models;\n(c) innovative teaching practices;\n(d) opportunities for educators to actively participate in the design and implementation of the learning program;\n(e) new forms of accountability emphasizing measurement tools in measuring education outcomes;\n(f) opportunities for greater parental involvement, including involvement in governance decisions; and\n(g) the impact of the innovative practices on student achievement.\n(2) The State Charter School Board may forward the report received under Subsection (1) to the state board.","path":["Title 53G Public Education System -- Local Administration","Chapter 53G-5 Charter Schools","Part 53G-5-2 State Charter School Board"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title53G/Chapter5/53G-5-S204.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"bbbe3b5415019c64689c3b9f38e79644301b80fbf5d1e0c8eb9c8053200600b1","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-53g-5-203","next":"us-ut/utah-code-53g-5-205"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
