{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-53g-5-413","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 53G-5-413","heading":"Charter school governing board meetings -- Rules of order and procedure.","body":"(1) As used in this section, \"rules of order and procedure\" means a set of rules that governs and prescribes in a public meeting:\n(a) parliamentary order and procedure;\n(b) ethical behavior; and\n(c) civil discourse.\n(2) A charter school governing board shall:\n(a) adopt rules of order and procedure to govern a public meeting of the charter school governing board;\n(b) conduct a public meeting in accordance with the rules of order and procedure described in Subsection (2)(a); and\n(c) make the rules of order and procedure described in Subsection (2)(a) available to the public.\n(3) The requirements of this section do not affect a charter school governing board's duty to comply with Title 52, Chapter 4, Open and Public Meetings Act.","path":["Title 53G Public Education System -- Local Administration","Chapter 53G-5 Charter Schools","Part 53G-5-4 Powers and Duties"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title53G/Chapter5/53G-5-S413.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"93d753cb1ff89c3ef46c46a22f3cb84fb1d1befc7fcbe49a4ce52581101bd19b","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-53g-5-412","next":"us-ut/utah-code-53g-5-414"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
