{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-53g-5-602","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 53G-5-602","heading":"Utah Charter School Finance Authority created -- Members -- Compensation -- Services.","body":"(1) There is created a body politic and corporate known as the Utah Charter School Finance Authority. The authority is created to provide an efficient and cost-effective method of financing charter school facilities.\n(2) The governing board of the authority shall be composed of:\n(a) the governor or the governor's designee;\n(b) the state treasurer; and\n(c) the state superintendent or the state superintendent's designee.\n(3) A member may not receive compensation or benefits for the member's service, but may receive per diem and travel expenses in accordance with:\n(a) Section 63A-3-106;\n(b) Section 63A-3-107; and\n(c) rules made by the Division of Finance pursuant to Sections 63A-3-106 and 63A-3-107.\n(4) Upon request, the state board shall provide staff support to the authority.","path":["Title 53G Public Education System -- Local Administration","Chapter 53G-5 Charter Schools","Part 53G-5-6 Charter School Credit Enhancement Program"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title53G/Chapter5/53G-5-S602.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"718ba2638577c0c866de24a1d5986d210921e38b9b8262711fbaac941181c302","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-53g-5-601","next":"us-ut/utah-code-53g-5-603"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
