{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-53h-10-303","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 53H-10-303","heading":"Donations to the program.","body":"(1)\n(a) A person may make a donation to the program by:\n(i) sending the donation to the plan; and\n(ii) including with the donation, direction that the donation benefit the program.\n(b) A person making a donation shall include the person's name and mailing address with the donation.\n(2)\n(a) The plan shall mail a receipt to the person that makes the donation.\n(b) The receipt described in Subsection (2)(a) shall state:\n(i) the name of the person that made the donation;\n(ii) the amount of the donation; and\n(iii) the date on which the person makes the donation.\n(c) The date on which the person makes a donation to the program is the date on which the plan receives the donation, unless the plan receives the donation on a Saturday, a Sunday, or a holiday, in which case the date on which the person makes the donation shall be the first business day after the day on which the plan receives the donation.","path":["Title 53H Higher Education","Chapter 53H-10 Utah Education Savings","Part 53H-10-3 Student Prosperity Savings Program"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title53H/Chapter10/53H-10-S303.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"6ea2e582afe4e4916cb9028155afec63fe6390d98f276fbcac43322451970511","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-53h-10-302","next":"us-ut/utah-code-53h-10-304"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
