{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-53h-16-405","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 53H-16-405","heading":"Nucleus Fund investment committee chair -- Duties.","body":"(1) The institute board shall appoint a chair of the investment committee.\n(2) The committee chair shall:\n(a) manage and execute the policies established by the institute board and the investment committee;\n(b) in consultation with the investment committee, manage qualified investments made by the Nucleus Fund;\n(c) annually submit to the institute:\n(i) a budget for the Nucleus Fund; and\n(ii) a financial plan for operations of the Nucleus Fund;\n(d) in accordance with generally accepted principles of fund accounting, establish a system to identify and account for Nucleus Fund assets;\n(e) maintain appropriate records of Nucleus Fund activities to enable auditors to conduct periodic audits as described in Section 53H-16-407; and\n(f) fulfill other duties as provided by the investment committee.","path":["Title 53H Higher Education","Chapter 53H-16 Nucleus Institute","Part 53H-16-4 Utah Innovation Fund"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title53H/Chapter16/53H-16-S405.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"210045f905a06d87b28c88ccdb88d01d05e928e0760a2f0909683a9d82e469dc","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-53h-16-404","next":"us-ut/utah-code-53h-16-406"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
