{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-53h-3-1204","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 53H-3-1204","heading":"Utah System of Technical Colleges -- Institutional name changes.","body":"(1) Beginning July 1, 2017:\n(a) Bridgerland Applied Technology College shall be known as Bridgerland Technical College;\n(b) Ogden-Weber Applied Technology College shall be known as Ogden-Weber Technical College;\n(c) Davis Applied Technology College shall be known as Davis Technical College;\n(d) Tooele Applied Technology College shall be known as Tooele Technical College;\n(e) Mountainland Applied Technology College shall be known as Mountainland Technical College;\n(f) Uintah Basin Applied Technology College shall be known as Uintah Basin Technical College;\n(g) Southwest Applied Technology College shall be known as Southwest Technical College; and\n(h) Dixie Applied Technology College shall be known as Dixie Technical College.\n(2)\n(a) As described in Subsection (1), each technical college is a continuation of the applied technology college that preceded the technical college.\n(b) An institution described in Subsection (1):\n(i) possess all rights, title, privileges, powers, immunities, franchises, endowments, property, and claims of the institution that preceded the institution; and\n(ii) shall fulfill and perform all obligations of the institution that preceded the institution, including obligations relating to outstanding bonds and notes.","path":["Title 53H Higher Education","Chapter 53H-3 Institutions of Higher Education Generally","Part 53H-3-12 Technical Colleges"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title53H/Chapter3/53H-3-S1204.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"8d957e909e59246fe6f63e3cffbff9a009f9dccbb006858f611d2a4ce168df86","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-53h-3-1203","next":"us-ut/utah-code-53h-3-1301"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
