{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-53h-3-608","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 53H-3-608","heading":"Geographic service areas for degree-granting institutions that provide technical education.","body":"(1) A degree-granting institution of higher education provides technical education in the geographic areas of the state described in this section.\n(2)\n(a) The Snow College Richfield campus, described in Section 53H-4-502, provides technical education for the geographic area encompassing:\n(i) the Juab School District;\n(ii) the Millard School District;\n(iii) the Tintic School District;\n(iv) the North Sanpete School District;\n(v) the South Sanpete School District;\n(vi) the Wayne School District;\n(vii) the Piute School District; and\n(viii) the Sevier School District.\n(b) A Utah State University regional institution, as defined in Section 53H-4-303, provides technical education for the geographic area encompassing:\n(i) for Utah State University Eastern, described in Section 53H-4-303:\n(A) the Carbon School District; and\n(B) the Emery School District;\n(ii) for Utah State University Blanding, described in Section 53H-4-303, the San Juan School District; and\n(iii) for Utah State University Moab, described in Section 53H-4-303, the Grand School District.\n(c) Salt Lake Community College provides technical education for the geographic area encompassing:\n(i) the Salt Lake City School District;\n(ii) the Granite School District;\n(iii) the Murray School District;\n(iv) the Canyons School District; and\n(v) the Jordan School District.","path":["Title 53H Higher Education","Chapter 53H-3 Institutions of Higher Education Generally","Part 53H-3-6 Institutional Programs and Courses of Study"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title53H/Chapter3/53H-3-S608.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"942c8ec13005642f3241aa07f0d373ae77b0084563b31a9abb9b3c8444a46210","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-53h-3-607","next":"us-ut/utah-code-53h-3-609"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
