{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-53h-4-306.3","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 53H-4-306.3","heading":"Electrification of Transportation Infrastructure Research Center -- Steering committee.","body":"(1) There is created the Electrification of Transportation Infrastructure Steering Committee.\n(2) The Electrification of Transportation Infrastructure Steering Committee consists of the following members:\n(a) the executive director of the Department of Transportation, or the executive director's designee;\n(b) the executive director of the Department of Environmental Quality, or the executive director's designee;\n(c) the director of the Office of Energy Development, or the director's designee;\n(d) the executive director of a large public transit district, or the executive director's designee;\n(e) the executive director of the Governor's Office of Economic Development, or the executive director's designee;\n(f) one representative of a major electrical power provider in the state, appointed by the governor; and\n(g) the chair of the industry advisory board created in Section 53H-4-306.4.\n(3) The steering committee member representing the Department of Transportation shall serve as the chair of the steering committee.\n(4) The steering committee shall:\n(a) provide direction to the project director on the nature and priorities of the strategic planning and development initiative;\n(b) assist the project director in the development of a strategic action plan and implementation related to the electrification of transportation infrastructure;\n(c) approve annual reports on the strategic planning and development initiative as required in Section 53H-4-306.6;\n(d) consider and approve the budget proposed by the project director for the expenditure of funds for the initiative; and\n(e) review expenditures authorized by the project director made before October 1, 2023.\n(5) The steering committee shall convene no later than October 1, 2023.","path":["Title 53H Higher Education","Chapter 53H-4 Individual Institutions","Part 53H-4-3 Utah State University"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title53H/Chapter4/53H-4-S306.3.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"fc47a61976741cf5ada55e486ab77ba35d50998c481e79d035d1b7ceedf44658","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-53h-4-306.2","next":"us-ut/utah-code-53h-4-306.4"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
