{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-53h-9-501","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 53H-9-501","heading":"General provisions -- Definitions.","body":"As used in this part:\n(1) \"Capital development\" means the same as capital development project, as defined in Section 63A-5b-401.\n(2) \"Consumer Price Index\" means the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers as published by the Bureau of Labor Statistics of the United States Department of Labor.\n(3) \"Dedicated project\" means a capital development project for which state funds from an institution's allocation are requested or used.\n(4) \"Fund\" means the Higher Education Capital Projects Fund created in Section 53H-9-502.\n(5) \"Institution's allocation\" means the total amount of money in the fund that an institution has been allocated in accordance with Section 53H-9-503.\n(6) \"Nondedicated project\" means a capital development project for which state funds from a source other than an institution's allocation are requested or used.\n(7) \"State funds\" means the same as that term is defined in Section 63A-5b-401.","path":["Title 53H Higher Education","Chapter 53H-9 Property and Facilities","Part 53H-9-5 General Capital Developments"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title53H/Chapter9/53H-9-S501.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"c3497622b9e022cdd7e6090f81bb4f3076286815d4ea1f0b3589d626e7c8b79e","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-53h-9-405","next":"us-ut/utah-code-53h-9-502"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
