{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-54-20-102","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 54-20-102","heading":"Definitions.","body":"As used in this chapter:\n(1) \"Demand side management\" means the same as that term is defined in Section 54-7-12.8.\n(2) \"Pilot program period\" means a period of five years during which the sustainable transportation and energy plan is effective:\n(a) for a large-scale electric utility, beginning on January 1, 2017; or\n(b) for a large-scale natural gas utility, beginning on July 1, 2019.\n(3) \"Sustainable transportation and energy plan\" means the programs approved by the commission and undertaken by a large-scale electric utility or large-scale natural gas utility during the pilot program period, including:\n(a) a natural gas vehicle rate or natural gas clean air program described in Section 54-4-13.1;\n(b) the electric vehicle incentive program described in Section 54-20-103;\n(c) the clean coal technology program described in Section 54-20-104; and\n(d) the innovative technology programs described in Section 54-20-105.","path":["Title 54 Public Utilities","Chapter 54-20 Sustainable Transportation and Energy Plan Act"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title54/Chapter20/54-20-S102.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"2388353181cb702ee5ac8a443d239d700861d050db26a1dc497f02ad2183a430","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-54-20-101","next":"us-ut/utah-code-54-20-103"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
