{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-54-26-402","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 54-26-402","heading":"Alternative service requirements.","body":"(1) A large load customer may enter into a large load contract with a large-scale generation provider if:\n(a) a qualified electric utility fails to complete an evaluation or provide a written response within the time period specified in Section 54-26-202; or\n(b) the qualified electric utility and large load customer cannot agree to a large load contract within 90 days after the day on which the large load customer receives the evaluation described in Section 54-26-202, unless the qualified electric utility and the large load customer mutually agree to a longer period of time.\n(2) After submitting a large-scale service request, a large load customer:\n(a) may negotiate a contract with one or more large-scale generation providers; and\n(b) may not execute a contract with a large-scale generation provider unless the conditions described in Subsection (1) are met.","path":["Title 54 Public Utilities","Chapter 54-26 Large-Scale Electric Service Requirements","Part 54-26-4 Service Provider Obligations"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title54/Chapter26/54-26-S402.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"8e60d89ce61f0c5c9ed4c8508d550dbb97aa71516154e8adbebcf70f86319373","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-54-26-401","next":"us-ut/utah-code-54-26-501"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
