{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-57-8-6.7","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 57-8-6.7","heading":"Approval of plans.","body":"(1) As used in this section:\n(a) \"Plan fee\" means a fee that an association of unit owners charges for review and approval of unit plans.\n(b) \"Unit plans\" means plans:\n(i) for the construction or improvement of a unit; and\n(ii) that are required to be approved by the association of unit owners before the unit construction or improvement may occur.\n(2) An association of unit owners may not charge a plan fee that exceeds the actual cost of reviewing and approving the unit plans.\n(3) If the association denies a unit plan, the association shall provide written notice to the unit owner specifying:\n(a) each governing document provision on which the association relied when denying the plan; and\n(b) the specific aspect of the proposed plan that does not conform to the specified governing document provision.","path":["Title 57 Real Estate","Chapter 57-8 Condominium Ownership Act"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title57/Chapter8/57-8-S6.7.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"4c6305f1b60b103eed301fdff46e9f3da07c849e8abb64c08802665af280101b","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-57-8-6.3","next":"us-ut/utah-code-57-8-7"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
