{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-57-8a-206","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 57-8a-206","heading":"Written statement of unpaid assessment.","body":"(1)\n(a) The manager or board of directors shall issue a written statement indicating any unpaid assessment with respect to a lot covered by the request, upon:\n(i) the written request of any unit owner; and\n(ii) payment of a reasonable fee not to exceed $10.\n(b) The written statement described in Subsection (1)(a) is binding in favor of any person who relies in good faith on the written statement upon the:\n(i) remaining owners;\n(ii) manager; and\n(iii) board of directors.\n(2) Unless the manager or board of directors complies with a request described in Subsection (1)(a) within 10 days, any unpaid assessment that became due prior to the date the request described in Subsection (1)(a) was made is subordinate to a lien held by the person requesting the statement pursuant to Subsection (1)(a).","path":["Title 57 Real Estate","Chapter 57-8a Community Association Act","Part 57-8a-2 Administrative Provisions"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title57/Chapter8a/57-8a-S206.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"ec0f753ea7ce1addb46f96911a8be1261a72bb6aa27c23c69046376f23c8775d","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-57-8a-201","next":"us-ut/utah-code-57-8a-208"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
