{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-58-17b-304","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 58-17b-304","heading":"Qualifications for licensure of pharmacy intern.","body":"An applicant for licensure as a pharmacy intern shall:\n(1) submit an application in a form the division approves;\n(2) pay a fee determined by the department under Section 63J-1-504;\n(3)\n(a) consent to, and complete, a criminal background check, described in Section 58-1-301.5;\n(b) meet any other standard related to the criminal background check described in Subsection (3)(a), that the division establishes by rule in accordance with Title 63G, Chapter 3, Utah Administrative Rulemaking Act; and\n(c) disclose any criminal history the division requests on a form the division approves;\n(4) have no physical or mental condition of a nature that prevents the applicant from engaging in the practice of pharmacy with reasonable skill, competency, and safety to the public;\n(5) meet the preliminary educational qualifications required by division rule made in collaboration with the board; and\n(6) meet one of the following educational criteria:\n(a) be a current pharmacy student, a resident, or fellow in a program approved by division rule made in collaboration with the board; or\n(b) have graduated from a foreign pharmacy school and received certification of equivalency from a credentialing agency approved by division rule made in collaboration with the board.","path":["Title 58 Occupations and Professions","Chapter 58-17b Pharmacy Practice Act","Part 58-17b-3 Licensing"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title58/Chapter17b/58-17b-S304.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"301e21e157e7f9b4696a2f1c172e31d71ba1db4fcb6cc7dc8bfa856cfc05d212","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-58-17b-303","next":"us-ut/utah-code-58-17b-305"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
