{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-58-17b-305.1","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 58-17b-305.1","heading":"Qualifications for licensure of pharmacy technician trainee.","body":"(1) An applicant for licensure as a pharmacy technician trainee shall:\n(a) submit an application to the division on a form created by the division;\n(b) pay a fee established by the division in accordance with Section 63J-1-504;\n(c) unless exempted by the division, submit a completed criminal background check;\n(d) demonstrate, as determined by the division, that the applicant does not have a physical or mental condition that would prevent the applicant from engaging in practice as a pharmacy technician with reasonable skill, competency, and safety to the public;\n(e) submit evidence that the applicant is enrolled in a training program approved by the division; and\n(f) satisfy any other criteria established by division rule made in collaboration with the board.\n(2) A pharmacist whose license has been denied, revoked, suspended, or restricted for disciplinary purposes is not eligible to be licensed as a pharmacy technician trainee during division probation.","path":["Title 58 Occupations and Professions","Chapter 58-17b Pharmacy Practice Act","Part 58-17b-3 Licensing"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title58/Chapter17b/58-17b-S305.1.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"e82fec6838644fbb92e4191d760e066fd735c69d8d952ea70a9811dbecfcd483","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-58-17b-305","next":"us-ut/utah-code-58-17b-306"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
