{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-58-24b-201","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 58-24b-201","heading":"Physical and Occupational Therapy Licensing Board -- Creation -- Membership -- Duties.","body":"(1) There is created the Physical and Occupational Therapy Licensing Board, consisting of:\n(a) three licensed physical therapists;\n(b) one physical therapist assistant;\n(c) two licensed occupational therapists;\n(d) one occupational therapy assistant; and\n(e) one member of the general public.\n(2) Members of the board shall be appointed and serve in accordance with Section 58-1-201.\n(3) The duties and responsibilities of the board are described in Subsection (4) and Sections 58-1-201 through 58-1-203 with respect to this chapter or Chapter 42a, Occupational Therapy Practice Act.\n(4) The board shall designate a member of the board, on a permanent or rotating basis, to:\n(a) assist the division in reviewing complaints concerning the conduct of an individual licensed under this chapter or Chapter 42a, Occupational Therapy Practice Act; and\n(b) advise the division during the division's investigation of the complaints described in Subsection (4)(a).\n(5) A board member who has reviewed a complaint or been involved in an investigation under Subsection (4) is disqualified from participating in an adjudicative proceeding relating to the complaint or investigation.","path":["Title 58 Occupations and Professions","Chapter 58-24b Physical Therapy Practice Act","Part 58-24b-2 Physical Therapies Licensing Board"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title58/Chapter24b/58-24b-S201.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"ca7fd5e4761d514627c7a93d93e3ec00e31f4ef4fa154ac7ba6a60fe4369ca8b","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-58-24b-102","next":"us-ut/utah-code-58-24b-301"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
