{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-58-28-305","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 58-28-305","heading":"Term of license -- Expiration -- Renewal.","body":"(1) A license as a veterinarian issued under this chapter shall be issued in accordance with a two-year renewal cycle established by rule. A renewal period may be extended or shortened by as much as one year to maintain established renewal cycles or to change an established renewal cycle.\n(2) A license as a veterinarian intern issued under this chapter shall be issued for a term established by the division by rule and consistent with the requirements of Subsection 58-28-302(2)(b).\n(3) Each license under this chapter automatically expires on the expiration date shown on the license unless renewed by the licensee in accordance with Section 58-1-308.","path":["Title 58 Occupations and Professions","Chapter 58-28 Veterinary Practice Act","Part 58-28-3 Licensing"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title58/Chapter28/58-28-S305.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"6104e25be37d5c3b6b4a6f5f79ec749ee1ef2cd329e457a8c543ebcdfd462461","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-58-28-304","next":"us-ut/utah-code-58-28-306"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
