{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-58-31b-103","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 58-31b-103","heading":"Nurse Education and Enforcement Account.","body":"(1) There is created a restricted account within the General Fund known as the \"Nurse Education and Enforcement Account.\"\n(2) The restricted account shall consist of:\n(a) administrative penalties imposed under Section 58-31b-503; and\n(b) interest earned on money in the account.\n(3) Money in the account may be appropriated by the Legislature for the following purposes:\n(a) education and training of licensees or potential licensees under this chapter;\n(b) enforcement of this chapter by:\n(i) investigating unprofessional or unlawful conduct;\n(ii) providing legal representation to the division when legal action is taken against a person engaging in unprofessional or unlawful conduct; and\n(iii) monitoring compliance of renewal requirements;\n(c) survey nursing education programs throughout the state;\n(d) education and training of board members; and\n(e) establish and review approved education programs.","path":["Title 58 Occupations and Professions","Chapter 58-31b Nurse Practice Act","Part 58-31b-1 General Provisions"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title58/Chapter31b/58-31b-S103.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"1085510ef928191fb05c81781ae0e4b04e01ce465ec48a4c5e0a407d49969068","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-58-31b-102","next":"us-ut/utah-code-58-31b-201"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
