{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-58-31b-306.1","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 58-31b-306.1","heading":"Registered nurse apprentice license.","body":"(1) The division shall issue a registered nurse apprentice license to an individual who meets the qualifications under Subsection 58-31b-302(6).\n(2) Unless the division extends the license for a specified period of time by written notification provided to the individual, the license expires on the earlier of:\n(a) one year from the day on which the license is issued;\n(b) 75 days after the day on which the division receives notice from the examination agency that the individual failed to take or pass the examinations described in Subsection 58-31b-302(5)(a)(vi); or\n(c) the day on which the division issues the individual a license as a registered nurse.\n(3) A license described in Subsection (1) is:\n(a) valid only in Utah; and\n(b) not an eligible license under Chapter 31e, Nurse Licensure Compact - Revised.\n(4) The division may make rules to administer the license described in Subsection (1) in accordance with Title 63G, Chapter 3, Utah Administrative Rulemaking Act.","path":["Title 58 Occupations and Professions","Chapter 58-31b Nurse Practice Act","Part 58-31b-3 Licensing"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title58/Chapter31b/58-31b-S306.1.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"b0ea2fbf82b59e85442d0d9f4443d72f57de5ca0f579df9d7c3fb44ff631891b","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-58-31b-306","next":"us-ut/utah-code-58-31b-308"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
