{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-58-3a-201","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 58-3a-201","heading":"Board.","body":"(1) There is created the Architects and Landscape Architects Licensing Board consisting of:\n(a) four architects;\n(b) two landscape architects; and\n(c) one member of the general public.\n(2) The board shall be appointed and serve in accordance with Section 58-1-201.\n(3) The duties and responsibilities of the board shall be in accordance with Sections 58-1-202 and 58-1-203 with respect to this chapter and Chapter 53, Landscape Architects Licensing Act.\n(4) The board shall designate one of the board's members on a permanent or rotating basis to:\n(a) assist the division in reviewing complaints concerning the conduct of an individual licensed under this chapter or Chapter 53, Landscape Architects Licensing Act;\n(b) advise the division in the division's investigation of these complaints; and\n(c) assist the division to maintain multiple methods to obtain licensure by rule.\n(5) A board member who has, under Subsection (4), reviewed a complaint or advised in its investigation may be disqualified from participating with the board when the board serves as a presiding officer in an adjudicative proceeding concerning the complaint.\n(6) The board shall maintain at least two pathways for licensure.","path":["Title 58 Occupations and Professions","Chapter 58-3a Architects Licensing Act","Part 58-3a-2 Board"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title58/Chapter3a/58-3a-S201.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"62f65100e2a85c660297853303bc5d50a22df02c1c5485fa91b92eaf18f28955","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-58-3a-105","next":"us-ut/utah-code-58-3a-301"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
