{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-58-40-201","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 58-40-201","heading":"Board.","body":"(1) There is created the Board of Recreational Therapy, consisting of:\n(a) two master therapeutic recreation specialists;\n(b) one therapeutic recreation specialist;\n(c) one therapeutic recreation technician; and\n(d) one member of the general public.\n(2) The board shall be appointed and serve in accordance with Section 58-1-201.\n(3)\n(a) The duties and responsibilities of the board shall be in accordance with Sections 58-1-202 and 58-1-203.\n(b) In addition, the board shall designate one of its members on a permanent rotating basis to:\n(i) assist the division in reviewing complaints concerning the unlawful or unprofessional conduct of a licensee; and\n(ii) advise the division in its investigation of these complaints.\n(4) A board member who has, under Subsection (3), reviewed a complaint or advised in the investigation of a complaint may be disqualified from participating with the board when the board serves as a presiding officer in an adjudicative proceeding relating to the complaint.","path":["Title 58 Occupations and Professions","Chapter 58-40 Recreational Therapy Practice Act","Part 58-40-2 Board"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title58/Chapter40/58-40-S201.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"ec705190695e07e0d2b3120c2155dfbd732600ac9a4bd4fa3b3c3652a92a012c","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-58-40-103","next":"us-ut/utah-code-58-40-301"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
