{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-58-4a-102","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 58-4a-102","heading":"Definitions.","body":"As used in this chapter:\n(1) \"Diversion agreement\" means a written agreement entered into by a licensee and the division that describes the requirements of the licensee's monitoring regimen and that was entered into before May 12, 2020.\n(2) \"Licensee\" means an individual licensed to practice:\n(a) under Title 58, Chapter 5a, Podiatric Physician Licensing Act;\n(b) under Title 58, Chapter 17b, Pharmacy Practice Act;\n(c) under Title 58, Chapter 28, Veterinary Practice Act;\n(d) under Title 58, Chapter 31b, Nurse Practice Act;\n(e) mental health therapy under Title 58, Chapter 60, Mental Health Professional Practice Act;\n(f) mental health therapy under Title 58, Chapter 61, Psychologist Licensing Act;\n(g) under Title 58, Chapter 67, Utah Medical Practice Act;\n(h) under Title 58, Chapter 68, Utah Osteopathic Medical Practice Act;\n(i) under Title 58, Chapter 69, Dentist and Dental Hygienist Practice Act; or\n(j) under Title 58, Chapter 70a, Utah Physician Assistant Act.\n(3) \"Program\" means the Utah Professionals Health Program.\n(4) \"Program contract\" means a written agreement entered into by a licensee and the division that allows the licensee to participate in the program.\n(5) \"Substance use disorder\" means the same as that term is defined in Section 26B-5-501.","path":["Title 58 Occupations and Professions","Chapter 58-4a Utah Professionals Health Program"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title58/Chapter4a/58-4a-S102.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"a9aac3acd1935dc4849dee0d8420a680eeece901ba5f820335312c116fe96284","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-58-4a-101","next":"us-ut/utah-code-58-4a-103"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
