{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-58-56-8.5","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 58-56-8.5","heading":"Building Inspector Licensing Board.","body":"(1) There is created a Building Inspector Licensing Board consisting of four building inspectors and one member of the general public.\n(2) The board shall be appointed and serve in accordance with Section 58-1-201.\n(3) The duties and responsibilities of the board shall be in accordance with Sections 58-1-202 through 58-1-203. In addition, the board shall designate one of its members on a permanent or rotating basis to:\n(a) assist the division in reviewing complaints concerning the unlawful or unprofessional conduct of a licensee; and\n(b) advise the division in its investigation of these complaints.\n(4) A board member who has, under Subsection (3), reviewed a complaint or advised in its investigation is disqualified from participating with the board when the board serves as a presiding officer of an administrative proceeding concerning the complaint.","path":["Title 58 Occupations and Professions","Chapter 58-56 Building Inspector and Factory Built Housing Licensing Act"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title58/Chapter56/58-56-S8.5.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"be391852c8a66fd5ad76fa56a2b24a4aa28d7c745dcfff2f4fd52be223b4fdaf","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-58-56-3.5","next":"us-ut/utah-code-58-56-9"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
