{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-58-57-110","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 58-57-110","heading":"Unlawful conduct -- Penalty.","body":"(1) As used in this section, \"unlawful conduct\" includes:\n(a) using the following titles or initials for the following titles if the user is not properly licensed:\n(i) respiratory care practitioner;\n(ii) respiratory therapist;\n(iii) respiratory technician;\n(iv) respiratory care apprentice; and\n(v) respiratory therapy apprentice; and\n(b) using a name, title, or initials that would cause a reasonable person to believe the user is licensed under this chapter if the user is not properly licensed under this chapter.\n(2) A person that violates Subsection 58-1-501(1)(a) is guilty of a third degree felony.","path":["Title 58 Occupations and Professions","Chapter 58-57 Respiratory Care Practices Act"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title58/Chapter57/58-57-S110.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"44d2c2a6da2a05a1617e398cdabdb729779fa722589c15d453f47af28aa9907b","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-58-57-109","next":"us-ut/utah-code-58-60-101"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
