{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-58-68-303","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 58-68-303","heading":"Term of license -- Expiration -- Renewal.","body":"(1)\n(a) The division shall issue each license under this chapter in accordance with a two-year renewal cycle established by division rule.\n(b) The division may by rule extend or shorten a renewal period by as much as one year to stagger the renewal cycles the division administers.\n(2) At the time of renewal, the licensee shall:\n(a) view a suicide prevention video described in Section 58-1-601 and submit proof in the form required by the division;\n(b) show compliance with continuing education renewal requirements; and\n(c) show compliance with the requirement for designation of a contact person and alternate contact person for access to medical records and notice to patients as required by Subsections 58-68-304(1)(b) and (c).\n(3) Each license issued under this chapter expires on the expiration date shown on the license unless renewed in accordance with Section 58-1-308.\n(4) An individual may not be licensed as an associate physician for more than a total of six years.","path":["Title 58 Occupations and Professions","Chapter 58-68 Utah Osteopathic Medical Practice Act","Part 58-68-3 Licensing"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title58/Chapter68/58-68-S303.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"6ea5e0a75fad62d56e7e5ccd6d0f62444fe67848dac5e356c3c93be5522bb05f","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-58-68-302.5","next":"us-ut/utah-code-58-68-304"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
