{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-58-70a-306","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 58-70a-306","heading":"Temporary license.","body":"(1) An applicant for licensure as a physician assistant who has met all qualifications for licensure except passing an examination component as required in Section 58-70a-302, may apply for and be granted a temporary license to practice under Subsection (2).\n(2)\n(a) The applicant shall submit to the division evidence of completion of a physician assistant program as defined in Subsection 58-70a-302(3).\n(b)\n(i) The temporary license shall be issued for a period not to exceed 120 days to allow the applicant to pass the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination.\n(ii) The temporary license may not be renewed or extended.\n(c) A temporary license holder shall work under the direct supervision of a physician.","path":["Title 58 Occupations and Professions","Chapter 58-70a Utah Physician Assistant Act","Part 58-70a-3 Licensing"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title58/Chapter70a/58-70a-S306.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"7a763fecfe226be8af40901c430feb7b47b37a332fa550f320ca64081c5abb3f","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-58-70a-305","next":"us-ut/utah-code-58-70a-307"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
