{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-59-2-1605","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 59-2-1605","heading":"Accounting records for levies -- Records -- Report to Legislature, commission -- Budget to Division of Finance.","body":"(1) Each county shall separately budget and account for the use of any money the county receives or spends from a levy the county imposes in accordance with Section 59-2-1602.\n(2) The program manager shall separately budget and account for the use of any revenue received from the fund.\n(3) On or before October 1 of each year, the program manager shall submit an electronic report to the Revenue and Taxation Interim Committee and the commission that contains:\n(a) a financial report that includes:\n(i) the amount of revenue allocated to the program manager for the current calendar year; and\n(ii) a summary of the uses of the revenue during the current calendar year; and\n(b) a status report on:\n(i) the development, enhancement, and implementation of the statewide property tax system and the statewide web portals described in Section 59-2-1606; and\n(ii) achievement of the performance metrics described in Section 59-2-1606.\n(4) On or before December 31 of each year, the program manager shall submit a detailed budget for the upcoming calendar year to the Division of Finance.\n(5) For the calendar year that begins on January 1, 2026, the program manager shall submit a detailed budget for the current year to the Division of Finance on May 6, 2026.","path":["Title 59 Revenue and Taxation","Chapter 59-2 Property Tax Act","Part 59-2-16 Multicounty Assessing and Collecting Levy"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title59/Chapter2/59-2-S1605.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"828f82da6e9dbbad09bc91995462e70d6a1a44cf07d6a01896aa5aa1872628f9","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-59-2-1602","next":"us-ut/utah-code-59-2-1606"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
