{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-59-31-401","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 59-31-401","heading":"Cannabinoid Proceeds Restricted Account.","body":"(1) There is created within the General Fund a restricted account known as the \"Cannabinoid Proceeds Restricted Account.\"\n(2) The Cannabinoid Proceeds Restricted Account consists of:\n(a) revenue collected from the tax imposed by Section 59-31-301; and\n(b) amounts appropriated by the Legislature.\n(3) Subject to appropriation, money in the account may be used for the following:\n(a) enforcement of Title 4, Chapter 41, Hemp and Cannabinoid Act by the Department of Agriculture and Food;\n(b) investigations described in Section 77-39-101, regarding cannabinoid products;\n(c) the Industrial Hemp Grant Program created in Section 63N-3-1302; and\n(d) provided to counties, cities, and towns in proportion to the county's, city's, or town's distribution under Section 59-12-205 for the preceding fiscal year.","path":["Title 59 Revenue and Taxation","Chapter 59-31 Specialized Product Licensing And Tax Act","Part 59-31-4 Miscellaneous Provisions."],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title59/Chapter31/59-31-S401.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"641853f422b9711a48a30ea8caee8623505b95a88547a90cd5d85e0a72c17415","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-59-31-302","next":"us-ut/utah-code-59-31-402"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
