{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-61-2g-304","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 61-2g-304","heading":"Application for licensure, certification, or registration.","body":"(1) An application for the following shall be sent to the division on a form approved by the division:\n(a) original certification, licensure, or registration; and\n(b) renewal of certification, licensure, or registration.\n(2) The payment of the appropriate fee, as established by the division, with the concurrence of the board, in accordance with Section 63J-1-504, must accompany an application for:\n(a) original certification, licensure, or registration; and\n(b) renewal of certification, licensure, or registration.\n(3) At the time of filing an application described in Subsection (1), an applicant shall:\n(a) sign a pledge to comply with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice and the ethical rules to be observed by an appraiser that are established under Section 61-2g-403 for:\n(i) a certified or licensed appraiser; or\n(ii) a trainee; and\n(b) certify that the applicant understands the types of misconduct, as set forth in this chapter, for which a disciplinary proceeding may be initiated against a person certified, licensed, or registered under this chapter.","path":["Title 61 Securities Division - Real Estate Division","Chapter 61-2g Real Estate Appraiser Licensing and Certification Act","Part 61-2g-3 Licensure, Certification, or Registration"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title61/Chapter2g/61-2g-S304.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"fff39e6dc0be4bffaeca93876e3a651eaee68f5e325820a77503dca4d10ee1bc","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-61-2g-302","next":"us-ut/utah-code-61-2g-304.5"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
