{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-63a-1-109","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 63A-1-109","heading":"Divisions of department -- Administration.","body":"(1) The department is composed of:\n(a) the following divisions:\n(i) the Division of Purchasing and General Services, created in Section 63A-2-101;\n(ii) the Division of Finance, created in Section 63A-3-101;\n(iii) the Division of Facilities Construction and Management, created in Section 63A-5b-301;\n(iv) the Division of Fleet Operations, created in Section 63A-9-201;\n(v) the Division of Archives and Records Service, created in Section 63A-12-101;\n(vi) the Division of Technology Services, created in Section 63A-16-103;\n(vii) the Division of Human Resource Management, created in Section 63A-17-105; and\n(viii) the Division of Risk Management, created in Section 63A-4-101.5;\n(b) the Office of Administrative Rules, created in Section 63G-3-401;\n(c) the Utah Office of Data Privacy, created in Section 63A-19-301; and\n(d) the Office of Inspector General of Medicaid Services, created in Section 63A-13-201.\n(2) Each division described in Subsection (1)(a) shall be administered and managed by a division director.\n(3) The department shall exercise oversight of:\n(a) the comprehensive state accounting system established by the Division of Finance under Section 63A-3-202.5; and\n(b) payroll services provided by the Division of Human Resource Management under Section 63A-17-402, including the use of the central payroll system developed by the Division of Finance.","path":["Title 63A Utah Government Operations Code","Chapter 63A-1 Department of Government Operations","Part 63A-1-1 General Provisions"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title63A/Chapter1/63A-1-S109.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"4ee4941cef31a65e4688a9f5b102bc8635782e999092c4de7dddf3e5630038ef","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-63a-1-108","next":"us-ut/utah-code-63a-1-109.5"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
