{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-63a-16-1104","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 63A-16-1104","heading":"Utah Cyber Center Restricted Account -- Creation -- Funding -- Uses.","body":"(1) There is created within the General Fund a restricted account known as the \"Utah Cyber Center Restricted Account.\"\n(2) The restricted account consists of:\n(a) appropriations made to the account by the Legislature;\n(b) federal grant funding;\n(c) private donations, grants, gifts, or bequests; and\n(d) interest earned on the account.\n(3) The Cyber Center shall administer the account.\n(4) Subject to appropriations, the Cyber Center shall use restricted account money for:\n(a) developing and implementing the statewide strategic cybersecurity plan;\n(b) providing cybersecurity tools, services, and incident response capabilities to governmental entities and local education agencies;\n(c) conducting cybersecurity assessments and audits for governmental entities and local education agencies;\n(d) providing cybersecurity training and awareness programs;\n(e) acquiring and maintaining cybersecurity technology and infrastructure;\n(f) supporting cyber threat intelligence sharing activities; and\n(g) any other activities necessary to carry out the duties described in Section 63A-16-1102.\n(5) The interest earned on account money shall be deposited into the account.","path":["Title 63A Utah Government Operations Code","Chapter 63A-16 Governance Of Technology","Part 63A-16-11 Utah Cyber Center"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title63A/Chapter16/63A-16-S1104.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"3c2481a9ddb10f90ac07befff0433c90632a14f79ca934f17f9a011d29d4d165","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-63a-16-1103","next":"us-ut/utah-code-63a-16-1301"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
