{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-63a-16-215","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 63A-16-215","heading":"Digital authentication system technical support.","body":"(1) As used in this section:\n(a) \"Digital authentication system\" means technology and procedures used to create digitally authenticated records.\n(b) \"Digitally authenticated record\" means the same as that term is defined in Section 17-71-301.5.\n(c) \"Governmental entity\" means the same as that term is defined in Section 63G-2-103.\n(d) \"State Archives\" means the Division of Archives and Records Service created in Section 63A-12-101.\n(2) The division shall provide technical consultation to the State Archives regarding:\n(a) security standards for digital authentication systems;\n(b) cybersecurity requirements;\n(c) authentication technologies and methods; and\n(d) system integrity standards.\n(3) The division may provide technical assistance to governmental entities implementing digital authentication systems approved under Section 17-71-301.5.","path":["Title 63A Utah Government Operations Code","Chapter 63A-16 Governance Of Technology","Part 63A-16-2 Chief Information Officer"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title63A/Chapter16/63A-16-S215.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"57007354ade8eca102b48706297918f48860222a1746806e15c808a76e6763c7","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-63a-16-211","next":"us-ut/utah-code-63a-16-301"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
