{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-63a-16-802","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 63A-16-802","heading":"Single sign-on business portal -- Creation.","body":"(1) The division shall, in consultation with the entities described in Subsection (4), design and create a single sign-on business portal that is:\n(a) a web portal through which a person may access data described in Subsection (2), as agreed upon by the entities described in Subsection (4); and\n(b) secure, centralized, and interconnected.\n(2) The division shall ensure that the single sign-on business portal allows a person doing business in the state to access, at a single point of entry, all relevant state-collected business data about the person, including information related to:\n(a) business registration;\n(b) workers' compensation;\n(c) beginning December 1, 2020, tax liability and payment; and\n(d) other information collected by the state that the department determines is relevant to a person doing business in the state.\n(3) The division shall develop the single sign-on business portal:\n(a) using an open platform that:\n(i) facilitates participation in the web portal by a state entity;\n(ii) allows for optional participation by a political subdivision of the state; and\n(iii) contains a link to the State Tax Commission website; and\n(b) in a manner that anticipates the creation of the single sign-on citizen portal described in Section 63A-16-803.\n(4) In developing the single sign-on business portal, the division shall consult with:\n(a) the Department of Commerce;\n(b) the State Tax Commission;\n(c) the Labor Commission;\n(d) the Department of Workforce Services;\n(e) the Governor's Office of Planning and Budget;\n(f) the Utah League of Cities and Towns;\n(g) the Utah Association of Counties; and\n(h) the business community that is likely to use the single sign-on business portal.\n(5) The division shall ensure that the single sign-on business portal is fully operational no later than May 1, 2021.","path":["Title 63A Utah Government Operations Code","Chapter 63A-16 Governance Of Technology","Part 63A-16-8 Single Sign-on Portal"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title63A/Chapter16/63A-16-S802.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"8d4f7b9ec8a474c0bdb2f9f933848c8d5476ab437b673971f8b30fc5f09ad62a","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-63a-16-801","next":"us-ut/utah-code-63a-16-803"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
