{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-63a-19-201","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 63A-19-201","heading":"Utah Privacy Governing Board.","body":"(1) There is created the Utah Privacy Governing Board.\n(2) The governing board shall be composed of five members as follows:\n(a) the governor, or the governor's designee;\n(b) the president of the Senate, or the president's designee;\n(c) the speaker of the House of Representatives, or the speaker's designee;\n(d) the attorney general, or the attorney general's designee; and\n(e) the state auditor, or the state auditor's designee.\n(3)\n(a) A majority of the members of the governing board is a quorum.\n(b) The action of a majority of a quorum constitutes an action of the governing board.\n(4) The governor, or the governor's designee is chair of the governing board.\n(5) The governing board shall meet at least two times a year.\n(6) The governing board may recommend specific matters to the state auditor under Section 63A-19-601.\n(7) The office shall provide staff and support to the governing board.","path":["Title 63A Utah Government Operations Code","Chapter 63A-19 Government Data Privacy Act","Part 63A-19-2 Utah Privacy Governing Board And Utah Privacy Commission"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title63A/Chapter19/63A-19-S201.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"c7f269fd6b963d7800c28e1f378b351455d6aef613d45ad2e6fb7ef763deccfc","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-63a-19-102","next":"us-ut/utah-code-63a-19-202"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
