{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-63b-21-201","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 63B-21-201","heading":"Authorizations to design and construct capital facilities using institutional or agency funds.","body":"(1) The Legislature intends that:\n(a) the University of Utah may, subject to requirements in Title 63A, Chapter 5b, Administration of State Facilities, use $37,400,000 in donations and institutional funds to plan, design, and construct a Dental School Building with up to 70,200 new square feet;\n(b) no state funds be used for any portion of this project; and\n(c) the university may not request state funds for operation and maintenance costs or capital improvements.\n(2) The Legislature intends that:\n(a) the Uintah Basin Applied Technology College may, subject to requirements in Title 63A, Chapter 5b, Administration of State Facilities, use $1,000,000 in donations and institutional funds to plan, design, and construct a Petroleum Technology, Energy Safety, and Transportation Training Center with up to 6,500 new square feet;\n(b) no state funds be used for any portion of this project; and\n(c) the college may use state funds for operation and maintenance costs and capital improvements.","path":["Title 63B Bonds","Chapter 63B-21 2012 Bonding and Financing Authorizations","Part 63B-21-2 2012 Capital Facility Design and Construction Authorizations"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title63B/Chapter21/63B-21-S201.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"07911200f61b1783a6101e1842dd4ca377e17cce00c661aeb244cb62da5a3225","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-63b-21-102","next":"us-ut/utah-code-63b-22-101"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
