{"data":{"id":"us-ut/utah-code-63b-30-301","jurisdiction":"us-ut","citation":"Utah Code § 63B-30-301","heading":"Authorization to design and construct capital facilities using institutional or agency funds.","body":"(1) The Legislature intends that:\n(a) the University of Utah may, subject to the requirements of Title 63A, Chapter 5b, Administration of State Facilities, use up to $9,685,000 in donations and institutional funds to plan, design, and construct an addition to the Rio Tinto Kennecott Building;\n(b) the university may not use state funds for any portion of this project; and\n(c) the university may use state funds for operation and maintenance costs and capital improvements.\n(2) The Legislature intends that:\n(a) Utah State University may, subject to the requirements of Title 63A, Chapter 5b, Administration of State Facilities, use up to $1,600,000 in institutional funds to plan, design, and construct or purchase and remodel a Blanding Professional Career and Technical Education Lab;\n(b) the university may not use state funds for any portion of this project; and\n(c) the university may use state funds for operation and maintenance costs and capital improvements.","path":["Title 63B Bonds","Chapter 63B-30 2020 Bonding and Financing Authorizations","Part 63B-30-3 2020 Capital Facility Design and Construction Authorization"],"source_url":"https://le.utah.gov/xcode/Title63B/Chapter30/63B-30-S301.html","current_through":"2026 General Session","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T11:34:33Z","sha256":"6aa2ee66bc3c9f1143085cc8c3b34f7c331dda71e10a043f471681d32e9b6046","source_id":"us-ut","stale":false,"prev":"us-ut/utah-code-63b-30-201","next":"us-ut/utah-code-63b-31-101"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
